Green Valley
Green Valley, built on over 8,000 acres since 1978 was the first master planned community in the Las Vegas area, and thanks to its great location, one of the most popular. The mature trees, green paths and unique city of Henderson parks are the hallmarks of the area. Have a picnic under the shade trees of Fox Ridge Park, run or bike the Pittman Wash trail, or meet up with your rec league at Arroyo Grande Sports Complex. The natural lake at Cornerstone Park is among the very few natural bodies of water inside the valley. Some larger communities in the area include Silver Springs, Whitney Ranch to the north, Ventana Canyon to the east and the gorgeous tree-covered streets of The Fountains.
