"Who's your boss?" "No I mean who's the CEO of your company?"
"Who's your boss?" "No, I mean who is the president or CEO of your company?" "How do you make people come to your company?" These are the questions I got from my third grade class at the end of our five sessions on "Our City", part of the 3rd annual REALTORS in the Classroom last week. I love volunteering because I get to work with kids - they are smart, and ask questions that are sometimes so precocious it tickles me.

Volunteer of the Year
Recently, I was presented with the Volunteer of the Year Award from Junior Achievement of Southern Nevada. "What does that commission pay for anyway?"
How do you justify value (preferably in the beginning) with a seller? One thing most sellers don’t know (even most REALTORS) is all that a good listing agent does to sell a home, and the time involved. Why I Volunteer and You Should Too
Corazon was her name, and it means “Heart" in Spanish. This third grader was the first child I spent working with one on one, and it changed my entire perspective on what we as business people can accomplish. My first challenge with her was to find a way to get her to read more.
5 Ways to Elevate the Real Estate Profession
Professionalism is a word that gets thrown out often in business, but in real estate it has an added meaning. In this business, we are responsible for guiding the public through what is usually going to be the biggest transaction of their lives. In this business, we communicate to the public in everything that we do - from billboards on the highway to something as simple (and far-reaching) as MLS photos.
